Our Story
Kiwanis Club of Saint Andrew is dedicated to serving children through impactful projects and fundraising. Our mission is to enhance community engagement and child welfare globally.
The Club received its official charter on the 13th of March 1986 from then Lieutenant Governor Winston Smith with Andrew Dunbar as our pioneering Charter President at the Clieveden Court Hotel. It originally began as an all-male club, an offshoot of the Kiwanis Club of Eastern Kingston & Port Royal and then began admitting female members in 1993. Five years later, Lorna McCreath would succeed DP Monty Duvall in 1998 as its first female President.
The Kiwanis Club of Saint Andrew has proudly sponsored the Kiwanis Club of St. Georges Buff Bay, the Kingston School of Nursing Circle K, the Holy Trinity High School Key Club, the St. Hugh's Prep K-Kids and the Mountain View Primary Builders Club.
